American Cancer Society
People facing cancer, those who have beat the disease, and their loved ones are benefiting every day from the progress the American Cancer Society is making thanks to the contributions of its volunteers and supporters. It is because of people like you that the Society is able to fund cutting-edge research, provide up-to-date cancer information and education, advocate for all people to have access to cancer screenings and treatment, and offer free programs and services that improve the quality of life for patients, families, and caregivers.
Supporters like John and Anita Casazza are helping make a difference in the fight against cancer. A year after Anita and John were married, Anita was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since cancer touched both of their lives so deeply, they decided early on in their marriage to open some charitable gift annuities. “We wanted to go ahead and give the money so the American Cancer Society can use it now,” John said.
