JOINING T&E INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
The editors of Trusts & Estates are pleased to announce the addition of Jeffrey L. Evans to the advisory board's Investments Committee. Evans, whose article “Rating the Quarterback” starts on p. 29, is a consultant to the New York based Institute for Private Investors, a membership organization that provides educational and networking resources to families with substantial assets and their advisors. Previously, Evans was a senior vice president covering industrial and commercial services companies for brokerage firms including Calyon (formerly Credit Lyonnais) and AXA Financial's Advest Group. Before moving to the sell side, he was vice president at Capital Management Associates, a money management firm serving institutional clients and high-net-worth investors with more than $1 billion under management. A chartered financial analyst, Evans holds a masters in business administration from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Securities licenses held include the NASD Series 7, 63, 24, 86/87 and NYSE Series 16.
